What payment options are there?

We accept most major debit and credit cards. Cards accepted can be found on the payment screen. 

Is my payment secure?

Yes, of course! Your payment is processed online by our provider Worldpay who the largest card payment provider across the UK and Europe.

Can I send my package as a gift?

Yes, you can select a separate delivery address for your order. You also have the option to add a personalised message or order requests at the checkout stage. 

Do you have discounts or promotions?

From time to time, we may run promotions to make the deal that much “sweeter”. You can find out about these by signing up to our newsletter or following us on social media. 

Where do I put in my discount code/gift card?

If you have a discount code or gift card this can be put in at the checkout stage.

Where can I find your product?

We are stocked in a wide range of independent retailers and venues in Dorset and across the south of England. If we are not stocked in some where you think we should please let us know using the enquiry form on our contact page

When do you bake Dorset Knobs?

Traditionally Dorset Knobs were baked in the winter months, in more recent years we have been able to produce them all year round to try and keep up with the demand for this famous product. However, due to the labour intensive nature and long baking requirements of this product, there are times during the year when the Dorset Knob may be out of stock.  

Do you provide for specific dietary needs?

Although we do not have any products that are specifically designed to cater for dietary requirements a lot of our products are suitable for certain dietary types. This information can be found on the individual product pages.

About Moores Biscuits

Is Moores Biscuits still run by the Moores family?

Yes, Moores biscuits is now over 140 years old. It is still owned and run by the Moores Family in West Dorset.

Can we visit the bakery?

We have a small bakery shop outlet selling our range of products as well as a selection of local and unusual foods.

When is your shop open?

Our Shop is open Opening Times Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm ( Jan until Easter 9am to 3pm).

We are closed on Bank Holidays.

Can I still visit your Morcombelake Bakery site?

No, we closed our Morcombelake site to visitors towards the end of 2020.

Online Orders

Can I recycle my delivery?

Yes, we love to look after the environment as much as we can. In your parcel we provide a information leaflet of how you can recycle the elements of your package. Recycling Information can also be found on product pages.

Do you deliver internationally?

We are sorry but we do not currently offer an international delivery service (this includes the Channel Islands & Isle of Man). We are constantly reviewing our offering so please keep an eye on our website for future updates. 

What's the minimum order for free postage?

We offer free postage on orders over £40. This will be automatically calculated at checkout. 

When will I receive my order?

Orders generally take 3-5 working days to arrive and are delivered by our courier between Monday – Friday. 

Do you offer next day delivery option?

No, unfortunately we do not currently offer and next day delivery service.

How much shelf life will the products I order have?

Although we cannot guarantee we generally aim to despatch Moores products with at least six months shelf life.
